The Attracta Beauty Awards (ABA) are a UK-based, independent, practitioner-led beauty awards platform, founded in 2015 by editorial make-up artist and former healthcare professional Attracta Courtney. Each entry undergoes a three-month evaluation by a panel of 21 judges — Harley Street physicians, Dermatologists, BAFTA-winning Make-Up Artists, Editorial Creatives, brand advisors and skin health experts — with no sponsorship influence and no public vote. Entries are allocated to the panel depending on expertise and knowledge.
ABA champions a "Slow Beauty" philosophy: prioritising skin barrier health and restorative results over trend-led marketing. In an industry shaped by fast turnover, we advocate a "less but better" standard, validating products and treatments that support the skin's biological ecosystem for the long term.
With over a decade of independent judging, ABA remains a defining authority for practitioner-led, science-backed beauty recognition in the UK.

Every entry is assessed by independent judges over a three-month evaluation period, with no sponsorship or public vote involved at any stage.
